THE FIRST RESURRECTION

Greetings Saints! “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.'” Acts‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭ESV‬‬. Act 2 talks about a time of despair and destruction and as we call on Jesus Christ we shall be saved. Sadly everyone won’t call on His name. The difficulty we face as human beings is believing we can do things under our own power and we can handle life all by ourselves with no help from God. We are loading humility and have accepted vanity and pride as a substitute. To have any chance in this world we have to come back to God and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, or we will find ourselves missing the first resurrection. The Holy Scriptures says: “Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.” Revelation‬ ‭20:6‬ ‭ESV‬‬.
