LOVE AND ENCOURAGE

Good morning Saints! “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.” Luke‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭ESV. Helping others reach their goals without a motive is a true trait of the Living God. ‬‬Loving our enemies even when they treat us wrong is to understand that it’s not the flesh it’s the spirit that we are dealing with. The flesh has succumb to the spirit that dwells in it. The Bible says: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭ESV‬‬. This is why forgiveness is so important to us as humans, because every time we forgive someone and love them we take the power away from these evil spiritual authorities in the heavenly places. Forgiveness is a testimony to the true and living God and it’s a powerful tool against evil and counted towards the Glory of God. Love your enemy as Christ loves us. Help someone without a motive and allow these things to be a witness in your favor, Amen! Stay Blessed and Faithful! Pastor Ken Simmons
