WALKING WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD

Greetings Saints! “whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” 1 John 2:6 ESV. There are people who say they walk with God but they live a life that says the opposite. Walking in the same way Jesus walked requires a relationship with God and man. We cannot walk with God and treat our fellow man with dishonor and discord. You can’t pick and choose what you want to believe and ignore what you don’t want to follow. Lukewarm people have no place in the Kingdom of God! There is a balance in our hearts that must take place that walks the same walk and talks the same talk as the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Scripture says: “So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.” Revelation 3:16 ESV. You cannot truly abide in the statutes of the Lord, if you heart and mind is not with Him. The Bible says: “This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me; in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:8-9 ESV. We must make sure we walk in the Holy Commandments of God and not the natural made up teachings of man, Amen! Stay Blessed and Faithful! Pastor Ken Simmons
