HAVING THE HEART OF GOD

Greetings Saints! “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalms‬ ‭119:11‬ ‭ESV‬‬. The more we have God in our hearts, the more conviction sets in and the more reverence we have for the Lord. As we grow in Christ our sinful nature changes more and more into a godly and Holy nature. The Bible says: “but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭ESV‬‬. The new creature that we become in Christ doesn’t allow us to do the things we use to do. The more we pray, praise and worship God, the more we distance ourselves from the natural world. We need God’s word to fight off the world. All our tools and how to use them is in the word of God. Study God’s word, retain the knowledge and choose God’s Holy ways over the worlds sinful nature. The Bible says: “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John‬ ‭17:3‬ ‭ESV‬‬.
