A LIGHT IN DARKNESS

Greetings Saints! “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭ESV‬‬. Their is a darkness in us they we will not be able to get rid of because we are fleshly beings. But we don’t have to succumb to it. This darkness came upon us through the sin of Adam and Eve. Now we create our own dark places through depression, loneliness, hatred, etc, but God has given us Jesus so we would always have a light when our lives seem too dark. The Bible says: “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭ESV‬‬. We have the power to conquer darkness by putting our faith in the Light, Jesus Christ. Without Christ, we don’t have the tools we need to fight off nor escape the darkness. Choose the Light in this dark place so you can see, Amen! Stay Blessed and Faithful. Pastor Ken Simmons
