THE FORTRESS WITHIN

Greetings Saints! “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalms‬ ‭18:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬. Scripture points out that Jesus is our everything. He’s our rock. Our overall strength and power comes from within and His Spirit is where it comes from. We do nothing of our selves. Jesus is our fortress and our place of rest. The Bible says: “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:19-21‬ ‭ESV‬‬. He is also our protector from all hurt, harm and danger as well as our provider in all things in the will of the Father. As we repent for the remission of sins, God delivers us from a everlasting darkness. His fortress inside you is solid. Nothing gets in or out without His permission. As long as we keep the Corner Stone (Jesus Christ) in the center of our hearts, our fortress will stand forever, Amen! Stay Blessed and Faithful! Pastor Ken Simmons
