A FRIEND INDEED

Greetings Saints! “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Proverbs‬ ‭18:24‬ ‭ESV‬‬. A lot of times we have people in our midst who don’t mean us any good. They do more hindering than helping. They are not supportive at all, they are not looking out for your best interests and lot of times they are against everything you believe in, yet we keep them around. The Bible tells us: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Be aware and careful of the company you keep. We must align ourselves with like minded people. We are called to show people the way out of darkness. We were never meant to dwell in darkness with them. The Bible says: “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13:20‬ ‭KJV‬‬.
