THE SAME DIFFERENCE

Good morning Saints! “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews‬ ‭13:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬. Christ never changes but we are to constantly evolve into a Christ-like state of being. Which means the expectation of man is to be and conform to a state of Holiness from the love of the Father which is Jesus Christ. Given to us through the Holy Spirit. Because God never changes, Jesus never changes. We know this because Jesus himself said it in the scriptures. “So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.” John‬ ‭5:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬. Jesus set his sights on the things of the Father. We have the privilege of doing the same thing. Scriptures says: “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Colossians‬ ‭3:2-3‬ ‭ESV‬‬.
