CONFESS TO RIGHTEOUSNESS

Good Afternoon Saints! “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Owning up to your faults and asking for forgiveness is major maturity in your walk with Christ! We have to stop playing the blame game and own up to our part in things that go wrong in our lives. Confession to God is freedom from sin. As long as you blame others for your short comings, you can never be freed from the bondage of self! To understand the Righteousness of God is to first understand the wrong that lies within ourselves. The Bible says: “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” Philippians‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Our way is not the right way but God's way is the only way. And that way is through His Son, Jesus Christ! Amen! Pastor Ken Simmons
